Thank you for your interest in the NAMI Family and Friends course being offered by NAMI Eastside Saturday, June 15th! We have a very FULL CLASS!! So if you are not able to attend the course in June, no worries, we WILL BE offering Family and Friends classes July 13th and September 14th.
NAMI Family and Friends is a 4-hour seminar that informs and supports people who have loved ones with a mental health condition. Participants learn about diagnoses, treatments, recovery, communication strategies, crisis preparation and NAMI resources.
The goal of the seminar is designed to offer participants practical skills and information to address your immediate concerns until you can attend a NAMI class. The NAMI Family and Friends seminar is open to family members and friends of people with mental health conditions as well as the general public. The material is appropriate for participants over the age of 18 or an attended youth 14 years and over.
The course and course materials are provided free of charge thanks to support from NAMI Eastside. Coffee, snacks, and lunch will be provided. Your contribution of $15 on the day of the training will help us cover the cost of coffee and meals. Please help us by paying it forward so we are able to offer this course more often! If you can contribute more, we thank you!! And if cash is tight, please be our guest!! We are glad that everyone can come and enjoy the day.
