Thank you for your interest in the NAMI Family & Friends course being offered by NAMI Eastside on Friday, October 23 from 9:30am-2:00pm!
NAMI Family & Friends is a 4-hour seminar that informs and supports people who have loved ones with a mental health condition. Participants learn about diagnoses, treatments, recovery, communication strategies, crisis preparation and NAMI resources. The goal of the seminar is designed to offer participants practical skills and information to address your immediate concerns until you can attend a NAMI class. The NAMI Family and Friends seminar is open to family members and friends of people with mental health conditions as well as the general public. The material is appropriate for participants over the age of 18 or an attended youth 14 years and over. The course and course materials are provided free of charge thanks to support from NAMI Eastside.
